Help with bridesmaid dresses please

Have you tried Quiz? They normally have a good range of reasonably priced dresses.

I had a similar problem to you with fit. Bought some cloudy blue Jenny Packham range dresses from Debenhams but the fit around the neck was too gaping. I really liked the dresses so ended up getting them altered by a seamstress. If you find something you like that is within your budget but the fit is not quite there, don't necessarily be put off.

Thank you for your reply, one of my bridesmaids insisted I buy her a size 16 in the Jenny Packham dress and that she would slim into it. Tried it on last night and it looks beautiful at the front, she turns around and there is at least a 5" gap at the back where the zip won't fasten, I'm not sure a seamstress could do anything about this which is a shame as it looks lovely. I have tried quizz, there is one I like in there but it was a very pale pink and I'm looking for more of a rose pink. Just wished more shops stocked them so we could make a day of it and go and find one. I feel like I have wasted lots of money keep ordering and returning things.

Where have you tried so far? Random one you may not have thought of, Dorothy Perkins. They may not have them in store but they have a couple of pretty pink ones at the moment, and 24% off until tomorrow night too. They have free returns as well

Hi, there are some pink bridesmaid dresses on Adasbridal. They can make dresses according to the measurements and color you provide but they need the extra money for that but even that their price is still very reasonable. Hi my bridesmaids wore coast dresses, bought in the sale. I bought a spare one because they were such a bargain and the seamstress put a corset back in them so that they fit perfectly. Might be worth discussing with a seamstress I think she said it could make the dresses go up two sizes but no more

Have you looked at monsoon? They're a little more expensive (and don't always have a lot in stock!) but they go up to a 22. This one is on sale and still available in most sizes:

Hi BHS have got an online sale on and the dresses you like are reduced to £77. There are lots of other rose coloured dresses on offer too. I'm in Nottingham and have found an excellent reasonably priced seamstress if you need any alterations. PM me if you want her details. Good Luck.
