They all sound like they would be popular so I'd try go for a mix of different animals and textures, I wouldn't have both a hot and a cold salmon.

    Cold Canapés

    Spanish Omelette

Blini with Smoked Salmon Mouse, Pepper, Dill & LemonCream Cheese

Feta, Black Olive & Cherry Tomato Brochette

    Hot Canapés

    Cauliflower Beignets

Slow Roasted Oriental Glazed Pork Belly on a Skewer

    Chipolata & Chutney Turnover

I'm vegetarian and I really hate goats cheese but I would eat around it if I was given it at a wedding.

For starters I'd go for the ravioli or the avocado salad.

Vegetarians ALWAYS get served a mushroom main meal and although I like mushrooms I know a lot of vegetarians who don't because sometimes they can taste a bit "meaty". I would choose the peppers and bulghar wheat ratatouille but the strudel and risotto sound nice too.

If you only have a few vegetarians coming you could ask them what they would prefer.

I'm veggie, and adore goats cheese AND mushrooms. If in a restaurant I may even order both goats cheese dishes, but wouldn't put both on the menu. Of yours, I'd either like the ravioli then the mushroom and goats cheese wellington, or the goats cheese salad then the mushroom strudel.

I'd hate the apple salad since I don't like apple in salads and I detest celery. Wouldn't even eat it. As for main courses, I don't like having risotto as a wedding food since it never looks as "smart" as the meat course, and just isn't as special.

    Cold Canapés:

Smoked Ham & Grain Mustard Ballotine, Devon Chutney

    Spanish Omelette

Feta, Black Olive & Cherry Tomato Brochette

    Hot Canapés:

Slow Roasted Oriental Glazed Pork Belly on a Skewer

    Chipolata & Chutney Turnover

    Demi Tasse of Seasonal Soup

    Wedding Vegetarian Starter:

Tomato, Mozzarella & Basil Ricotta Ravioli with Sauce Vierge

    Wedding Vegetarian Main:

Field Mushroom, Spinach & Goats Cheese Wellington served with Green Beans & Confit Tomatoes

*although Roasted Butternut Squash Risotto Toasted Pine Nuts & Crispy Sage may be safer as I gather lots of people are weird about mushrooms*

I loathe avocado and apple in salad so would opt for the other one. Anyone pregnant wouldn't be able to eat the goats cheese or feta. Although if it's cooked in the main rather than melted it would be ok.

I would choose several vegetarian canapés as everyone who is veggie can a choice then (if you only had one vegetarian canapé they would go hungry!) and your meat eaters will eat veggie ones IMO.

    Cold Canapés

Goats Cheese & Basil Tartlets / Blini with Smoked Salmon Mouse, Pepper, Dill & Lemon / Feta, Black Olive & Cherry Tomato Brochette

    Hot Canapés

Cauliflower Beignets / Salmon & Broccoli Barquette / Chipolata & Chutney Turnover

Starter - Warm Capricorn Goats Cheese Watercress, Black Olive Fennel Salad served with Beetroot Vinaigrette

Mains - Roasted Butternut Squash Risotto Toasted Pine Nuts & Crispy Sage

Is there a key guest who is vegetarian (ie BM, member of wedding party) ? If so it may be worth asking them. My children, my sister and my SiL2B are all vegetarian so I am going to seek their advice before making the final choice with our venue.

All sounds very yummy though and if I was still vegetarian would eat any of them (but would pick out the pear from the salad!) HTH
