Help with choosing a dress please....

Katianne, 13 April, 2013 at 15:23 Posted on Planning 0 27

I have found the style of dress that I love, but would love to have some opinions on which of the following people like the most:

C. D.

Have you tried all the dresses on? i find that i like a picture then when i try the dress on it looks completely different. I can't see the pics, my comp is rubbish, so cant give an opinion on the dress but have you not got friends/family to take with you so they can give you their opinions? xx

It depends when your wedding is and what style of wedding you are having (e.g. formal, casual, village church, huge cathedral or local reg office). I like A for a summery wedding and D for more winter.

A or C for me too, I am a sucker for Justin Alexander, is A a charlotte balbier? I am personally not crazy on halternecks but only because they do not look right on me.

You really have to go and try them on I think, they look so different on. I have seen some pictures where it is obvious the model is standing on a box because NO ONE HUMAN HAS LEGS THAT LONG. When I put it on my 5 foot 3 frame, it looks verrrrry different.

    Go try! Go Try!

I have tried one of them on and absolutely loved it. BUT its over budget, so I'm trying to find it as a sample / preloved. I thought it might be an idea to find similar dresses in case I can't find it....

They are all JA dresses - LOVE his dresses. The only problem I have is that some of them aren't current season, I've found them on preloved so they aren't very near and I would have to try them on at people's houses....?

Love JA dresses! I tried on the first one as I loved the pics-unfortunately didn't look good on me, just too big a skirt sad.y :-( I actually love d though, but agree with the others that you ideally need to try them on as they look so different on!

Quite a lot, but I've found a preloved one that's in budget but its been taken in (my size but taken in). So I'm going to try it and but I might have to have it taken out again, and not sure if it would notice?

Ok, so I managed to find a bridal shop that opened on Sundays so guess where I've been today?! ?

Tried on dress A (lovely but not the 'one') and dress C, which I loved. Also tried on a Maggie Sotetero dress called 'Jessie' and really like that too (don't like the model pic though)...

So, now I have three that I've tried on and like, (C,D and the Maggie) but all are in different shops and they won't allow me to take photos of me wearing them to help remind me how they look ?

I tried on D and it was one of my favourite dresses. The reason I didn't go for it in the end was that I wanted my shoulders and arms covered for church and there was no bolero or anything that looked right with the dress.

You need to try them on though - dresses look SO different on than in pics (and even when you just see them on the hanger)

I do love D. I can't get it out of my head. I am going to try it on again on Friday and I can't wait. But I also did love C which I tried on today and would like to try the last one I posted. I do prefer button backs though which D has and C doesn't.....
