Help with flower colours for chocolate and gold dresses?

Fozzy Bear, 26 March, 2009 at 09:26 Posted on Planning 0 6

I had thought pink peonies (and wouldl like to stick with peonies if possible), but this was before the chocolate brown was introducesd courtesy of 14yo step daughter BM.

My dress is a Sophia Tolli spun gold and I have 2 choc BMs and 2 ivory FGs (no bouquets for them though).

What do you think, any ideas? Would Ivory be better or does pink still go?

Thanks

xx

Hi. My 2 older BM's wore Chocolate Brown and we had Ivory flowers, but I think pink would have been ok too.

We had a combination of ivory, pink and brown. I too had a gold dress but it had ivory lace over the top so I got away with an ivory bouquet.

Pink would look great. A friend of mine had this dress colour combination and her bouquet had various shades of pink, including pink peonies. The other colour she used (although not in flowers) was a really bright blue which looked good too.

Aw thank you!! I adored it the minute I saw it, I bought that and my tiara from two lovely ladies on ebay, the veil was only £17. It had little crystals on it so when it was forward it sparkled and when it was back is sparkled.
