IMO I'd go for either a side tiara if you'd like some embellishment at the front or a comb at the back where the hair joins.

Obviously the style and materials will depend on your dress but here are a few options from my website

Or a hair comb slotted in the back like this perhaps

If I can help at all with further info or even a bespoke design, please don't hesitate to contact me on ****@***********.**.**

I'd either have a tiara on top, a bit behind your fringe like this...

Or like a flower or jewelled slide in the side (I'm not a fan of headband/side tiaras)

That hairstyle will take atiara or a side tiara I have a few here. I think the graduated tiara would look nice. https://www.3djewellery.co.uk/index_files/simple_wedding_prom_tiaras.htm

Now I'm even more confused than ever..I love all the ideas and suggestions and especially like the side headband examples...I must admit I'm not enjoying this wedding planning malarky, and this bit (the dress, hair etc) stresses me the most...I like plain and ordinary and if I could just get married in my jeans and t-shirt I'd be a happy bunny..lol..thanks again for your suggestions, you've given me plenty to think about..xx

Onion despite being a tiara/jewellery designer I found decided on what hair accessory to have the most stressful part!

What is your dress like as that is a huge factor in deciding on what accessory to have? Also do you have any other pieces of jewellery picked out already so the materials can be co-ordinated?

You have loads of ideas with that your hairstyle so here are a few ideas from me, website is www.lynseysdesigns.co.uk. Facebook is also full of bespoke ideas I've created over the years www.facebook.com/lynseysdesigns1.

I'll post the pictures showing brides wearing the designs as it's much easier to imagine them on yourself.

This is on a silk wrapped band so the band disappears against your hair colour (different ribbon can be used to match)

Since you aren't wanting anything too big or sparkly then this would be ideal as it gives a touch of detail without being ott and it's really light to wear

You might also like the idea of a comb instead of an actual band so the 'Florence' collection shows how most designs can be made in a variety of ways

and another design which isn't too detailed or big

If you want to chat over any designs or even borrow some samples I can post designs to you to try before deciding to order any.

    Hope that helps

    Lynsey x
