Help with shoes please! (bridezilla type tantrum on its way....)

tmerc22, 3 May, 2009 at 20:48 Posted on Planning 0 6

Hiya Hitchers! ?

I want a nice pair of wedding shoes but Ive had operations on my feet that have limited my choices, I can't have anything more than a 1inch heel and they cannot be too narrow and must have a round or open toe (as my feet are flat as pancakes and have no arch)

I really want some bling on them (as sparkly as possible) or beading or sequins. ?

The nicest shoes tend to have large heels or are too dainty and narrow which I cannot wear ☹️

Can anyone help me before I have a bridzilla 'stamp my odd feet' tantrum? ?

I have just posted mine on another thread. I'm not sure how wide they are, but they are round toe, low heel and bargain at £25 in Next.

What about these? Not typically weddingy, but might suit your needs!

    Silver pumps? http://www.newlook.co.uk/1548125/154812593/ProductDetails.aspx

Or what about pretty flip flops?? Do they give enough support though? I'm very flat footed and I know I can't wear them for too long. These are lovely: http://www.newlook.co.uk/1636150/163615092/ProductDetails.aspx

Another thought - what size shoe do you take? I was buying shoes for my 10yr old step daughter the other week and her feet are the same size as mine, size 5. I was stunned to see children's sizes going up to a 6. Def worth looking at, I always buy childrens sizes in ballet pumps.

    These go up to a 5: https://www.bhs.com/mall/productpage.cfm/bhsstore/119060/132429

I mentioned this site on here a couple of weeks ago: http://www.bespokebigday.co.uk/

you can have any size heel and any colour shoe - you just choose the base style and then choose heel height and colour. They have some nice glittery ones too.
