Help! You’re mini-moon spa/hotel recommendations needed

Hi ?

My OH and I have been thinking about having a mini-moon right after our wedding (end of Feb) and then a honeymoon later in the year.

We both like the idea of a romantic trip away to a hotel/spa somewhere in the UK for 2 nights or more – would anyone be able to share their recommendations?

I’ve tried doing a search on hitched but most spas mentioned were not named…

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

If you did mind catching a flight over to Northern Ireland, there is a place called Galgorm Hotel & Spa - I have been for treatments & they were lovely (fell asleep during a facial!)

Also they have little cottages which you can rent out rather than staying in the hotel. When my HTB came over to see me first time in Northern Ireland, we stayed in one of the cottages, was lovely, they would have someone to lit the fire in the evenings. Was lovely & cosy...

There is a place called Owl House Spa which is close to me in England, http://www.owlhousedayspa.co.uk - They are linked with The Langley Priory Hotel http://www.langleypriory.co.uk - I have not tried here yet, but hoping to take my Bridesmaid & myself there the week of my wedding for a afternoon of relaxing as it looks really nice....
