Hiya girls,

I can't decide what flowers to have. I know they will be Ivory, I wanted roses originally but they are pricey, was wondering if you had any other flower ideas??

I'm using foam roses, feathers and glass beads. Here's my first attempt.

I'm having peonies which are my favorite flower. Hydrangeas are a great, high-impact flower that tends to be affordable because you don't need to use lots of them to have a beautiful look.

With roses, fresh roses come in different grades of length so if you go for a small posy, then your florist would be able to use short stem roses which are very reasonable. Also, another way to keep the cost down with roses, if you aren't bothered about the variety but just want ivory roses, these will be cheaper than specified varieties which she will have to order especially for you. Peonies are actually more expensive than roses to be honest and roses are available all year round whereas peonies aren't. If you go for something minimalistic, they won't be very expensive. I've attached a few photos of some of mine for you for bridesmaids using roses although mine are artificial but can easily be done in fresh too.

The ones with blue in are roses and hydrangea and the last one has roses and lilac blossom. Hope that helps.
