HELP.....serious dress wobbles!!

Suze, 3 August, 2008 at 22:29 Posted on Planning 0 2

Hi

I ordered bridesmaid dresses yesterday and ordered burgundy as all my bridesmaids agreed this was their favourite, before going shopping I had decided against this colour as this was the colour one of my bridesmaids had at her wedding (I was bridesmaid). I really dont want to have the same colour scheme (she had ivory lillies as her flowers) does anyone have any ideas on what other colour flowers etc I could have so that it would look completely different and make me feel better about choosing this colour? Getting totally stressed out about it, do I go with what everyone else liked or change it to what I would prefer?!...........HELP i'm so confused!!

Honestlu, what's a colour scheme between friends? ?

I've never seen any point in trying to be different for different's sake so I'd say stick with what your girls are happiest with, especially as they've all agreed. You'd be surprised how difficult that bit usually is.

I'm sure there are loads of flower options, accessories etc to help define them as 'your' bridesmaids IYSWIM.

Trust me when I say that this isn't a serious panic moment but just a blip.

What flowers were you hoping to have in your bouquet?

Thank you for your repies, you have knocked some sense into me ? The dresses they tried on were that colour and they all suited it and your right I can have different accessories and things-I was just being silly ?

I would love to have stargazer lillies but would pink go with burgundy? I am rubbish at matching colours!

    xx
