Hen do?

I think we're going to the races for mine and then a meal after (and maybe a cheesy club like flares!) My bridesmaids are keeping me in the dark a little bit because they would like to organise everything bless them. What are you doing for yours?

I'm in 2 minds, might have a nice meal and drink somewhere and then move onto a 70's night or something for all the women in the family, and maybe get a night with just friends and go to our local rock club as it wouldn't suit everyone in my family

I'm having 2!

First will be a meal and lots of drinks afterwards - this one will be for all my friends and mums. OH's mum is 66 so she wouldn't be up for wild one.

Second will be a weekend in Cardiff with my MOH, BM, mu mum and MOH's mum.

No idea yet! As with everything else wedding related, we're a bit behind! Need to agree a weekend fairly soon

I thought maybe a spa weekend too. I love the idea of going for a city break but not all my sisters would be able to come, my mum wouldn't. One of my older sisters is disabled so anything with too much walking or too physical wouldn't be suitable for her, that's why I'm thinking the spa weekend would probably be best. My OH has decided he wants a lads weekend to Amsterdam, oh dear!

We're having a joint hen/stag at the Edinburgh Festival a week before the wedding! Booked the accommodation last week, so excited!

We're going to Benidorm. Once we had priced it up it was cheaper to go there than spend 3 nights away in this country!

I have pretty much no idea! I'm letting my BMs sort it all out, so I have one less thing to think about. They've known me for YEARS so they should know what I want. My only stipulations have been that it doesn't cost too much. Think I'll also do something separate with Mum, MIL and SILs. I wanted my hen do to just be very good friends rather than family.

I can't decide. It will definitely be in London but I don't know whether to have a posh dinner or just go for drinks and dancing. And I don't know if I want to do something during the day or just have a night out. That's not very helpful is it? ?

Off to Amsterdam for 2 nights, 3 days. I can't wait... Always wanted to go there!!

I'll be having two but nothing extravagant, I'm not really a 'night out' person. Myself and a colleague who is getting married 2 months after me are having a joint hen do at work, probably a meal followed by drinks. My bridesmaid is arranging my 'proper' hen do, I have no idea what it will be but she knows me very well so it will probably be a spa type thing rather than a night out.

Im having 3 im off to Benidorm for 4 nights with 15 of my party animal mates, I cant wait it will be vile haha. then im having a night out in my hometown of Cardiff with a drag show, my mum and all my aunties ect will come to this as well as everyone who couldn't make it (or wouldn't survive) Benidorm. lastly im having one in the town where I live now with the girls from work, im super sensible in work so I don't want them to see me in 'real life' on my other hens as no doubt i'll be in a right state!

one for family - we will be going away (dont know where yet) to see a comedy show with lots of nude men in it lol my mam and aunts have been talking about wanting to see it for years

one for friends - my friends dont have much money and cant really travel much (and some are lesbians) so I dont want to do the dreamboy thing people tend to do round here or drag them away for a weekend the cant afford so Im planning on a river booze cruise hopefully, the boat just takes you out while you get drunk and then comes back... its only 3-5 hours and only cost between £15 - £40pp depending on if you want food or not or a VIP room, entertainment is included aswell

I'm eloping and it's a secret to everyone except our parents and my brother, so I'm not having one. I hate a fuss generally, and just want everything to be very simple.

I'm not a big drinker and the idea of going to a nightclub doesn't appeal to me in the slightest!

Instead I'm having a Spa weekend with 10 family & friends. It's a lovely meal the night before, an overnight stay and then a day in the spa with treatments included.

I did also want to do a Hen vs Stag Paintball but none of my hen's like it and the timings didn't work out for everyone.

We are going to bournmouth for two nights. Comedy club with meal and then drinks after for first night. Then cocktail making amd dreamboys second evening x

Me and my h2b and family did that for my birthday and it was fantastic, brilliant fun. There were a few hens going on at the time also.

Had mine on Saturday! Was just told to turn up at my mates house for 12 and they had Champagne and strawberries waiting for me, they then whisked me off to the races and then into town for a meal then round for a few drinks. Loved it x

I was just wondering what other people are up to. My BM is sorting mine out- she has offered to tell me but I'm not sure if I want a surprise or not...

As for the OH- he might be off to Australia! His brother is his best man and is planning on moving out there. So OH could be flying out to spend time with his brother. Think it'll be awesome.

We are having an afternoon champagne tea type thing at my house (Mr Foo is taking the kids away for the weekend, woohoo!), followed by a Big Night Out in Shoreditch (probably Floripa) then back to mine for a sleepover. Lots of tea and bacon sarnies and chats the following morning.
