Hen do advice please!

My MOH (sister) is doing it and just asking me about the guest list and odd thing now and again, preferances etc.

My bm organised mine and it was last night, it was fricking ace and I loved it! Now on hair of the dog ?

I organised mine myself eventually as my MOH was rubbish (just in it for the dress I think!) and my best friends didn't step forward (although afterwards they all said I should have asked!)

Thanks for your reply! what are you doing for yours? my chief bridesmaid isnt the most organised person so i said i will get the guest list together and she can do the rest (with help from my other bridesmaid) but im already having trouble getting definate numbers. thinking about doing something local now as people dont want to go away. do i just do what i want and sod the rest or change my plans?

I've only just booked mine and it was a combined effort. I contacted everyone that I was inviting and then once I had an idea of numbers, both BMs and I looked for possible venues. I found the whole thing quite stressful too but I'm a control freak so didn't want to hand the whole thing over to other people. Plus one of my BMs has a young son so I was conscious of it taking up too much of her time!

I chose what I wanted but my MOH actually did all the practical part getting it sorted

I'm doing a local daytime activity and night out. All in the hands of my BMs, I know nothing!

My 2 BF's are organising mine but to be honest I didnt really want one!! Just because I knew it would be more of a mare getting final numbers that it was for the wedding itself, and boy was I right (why cant people just tell you yes or no!!). Anyways I know it will be a great nite in the end but feel bad for my friends & family causing my BF's stress.

I organised my own & it's the only thing that's stressed me out about the wedding so far!!! I'm having 2 & I've told my Sis she can organise the other one!!

Im glad im not the only one thats getting stressed out by it. its highly annoying when people dont give a straight answer! i guess the people who really care will be there! x

Im going to let my bridesmaids to it. Give them a list of who i would like there and then things i don't want to do.

I had an invite the other week to a hen do, without all the information, did my head in.

They wanted definite yes or no's, without telling me how much a 3 day weekend away is.

My CMB and one of the other BMs have done it all. I gave them the email addresses of people I wanted to invite and the weekend it could be. I've found out by accident when CBM slipped up where we're going but that is all I know.

I do know she's been amazing and will have put loads of effort in. I'm really excited even though I don't know anything about it!

Oh and I should say, she told me she was doing it all and I was to know nothing. I didn't come over all bridezilla on her and demand she did it! I think it's meant to be payback for keeping her in the dark about hers!
