What about a pirate theme?

Depends on wether you want it very "Hen-nighty" or not, but,,

Easy ones that can suit anyones budget is pick a colour (your wedding theme, perhaps) or a letter (first letter of your name or his, maybe?) and go as something that colour or something beginning with the letter "?" ?

then everyone can suit thier own taste / budget ... ? :-)

You could always pick a colour..like everyone wear pink or purple...that keeps it cheap and also doesnt embarass anyone of the older generation. Or you could pick a letter like the first letter of your name and say people have to come dressed as something to do with that. That leaves it fairly open.

I think broad themes are the best (and easiest) that way people can take it as far as they want. So picking something like 'movie stars' or 'pop stars' or 'fantasy' or something gives people more scope than say, school girls.

Pirate, sailor theme, or colour idea is always good, hawain (just buy those flower garlands), police (black + hats), burlesque or something beginning with S, dead famous ...list goes on! (Ilove fancy dress!)

Ohhh or a barbie theme so basically go as anything like 'army barbie' or 'police barbie' etc, cowgirls...

I went to a movie-themed birthday party a few months ago and it was fab - people can take it as seriously as they want. There was a Cruella de Ville, Lara Croft, Jessica Rabbit, Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's, Mary Poppins, (I went as Sally Bowles from Cabaret - any excuse to wear suspenders in public, ooer), Uma Thurman's character in Pulp Fiction and so on....

How about Wild West, 80's theme, wig party, superheroes

How about, 'the pink' ladies from grease? disney princess? or mama mia style?

...Zombies!!! Then you can go as the Corpse Bride! And no one has to worry about doing their hair, as the scruffier the better!! lol.

Glad you've got it sorted! I do always love something with the same letter as your name! Always get some interesting ones! I've done a pink one before where people came as pink ladies, pink panther and one person came as a pink whoopie cushion!

i did think about something the same letter as your name but i got stuck with my own, 'k', other than kangaroo or kitkat! also i've only given people 3 weeks to come up with something, so didn't want it to be too dificult.
