Hen Do Ideas.

grace85, 25 May, 2010 at 12:52 Posted on Planning 0 10

Hey Ladies,

I need some ideas from you all for the Hen do.

It's going to be end of Jan and ideally i'd like it to be an all day thing but not overnight, a few friends have got/will have young children so won't want to stay away over night.

I was thinking of some kind of activity in the day then maybe a meal and drinks after but i can't think what to do for the activity.

It has to be indoors as it'll be cold in Jan and there will be quite a variety of ages so nothing like pole dancing, lol.

Also if anybody could recomend any websites to get ideas from, apart from Hitched obviously!

Thanks girls. xx

I had thought of cocktail classes, alot of my girls do like a good cocktail.

Maybe something a bit livelier (sp) then a spa.

Thanks hun, keep em coming. xxx

For one of my friends hen dos a few weeks ago we did a cocktail class and it was brilliant fun, we were in our own seperate bar so didnt feel self conscious and they get everyone involved in making different cocktails and then we got to drink them all, they even mixed some none alcoholic ones that looked the same for a pregnant member of the party. Ours was at one of the revolution chain bars but would definately recommend it was only about £20 a head x

Have you looked on www.chillisauce.co.uk ? I haven't ever booked anything on here so can't vouch for it but if you can select an area of the country and it gives you a list of activities available in the area and they've got loads of stuff on there! E.g. chocolate making, dance lessons including belly dancing, dirty dancing, salsa etc, wine tasting, cocktail classes.

We did the same W2B, and the nice man who did our lesson saw us queuing on the way back in and waved us through informing a very crowded bar that we were on the VIP guest list which was very nice of him lol x

    Cocktail making sounds great fun!

I heard of a hen who had dance lessons with her party during the day - they learnt some dirty dancing moves in tutus. Also heard of burlesque lessons.

I get all excited by hen dos - I have a friend planning mine. Scary!
