I dont see many Hen Do reports on here, but mine was at the weekend and was awesome so I'm going to......
Lets start by saying that I knew nothing about my hen apart from the date I was going. My sister was organising it and my mum had even come round and packed my bag for me. The day before I get a text from my MIL saying to be ready at 9am, still I am none the wiser.
So, Im picked up and 5 of us go for breakfast locally then we wander off to the train station, meet three more people and get on a train to London (should of known, its where my sister lives!)
Four bottles of prosecco and 45 minutes later we arrive at Liverpool St! Two minutes down the road and im dragged through a doorway and into a lift, but this was no ordinary lift, it was glass and took us up to the 38th floor in 10 seconds!!
We had arrived at SushiSamba and met my mum and sister for cocktails with the most amazing view
From here (now pretty tipsy) I was taken to a gym, yes an actual gym with people working out in it! Given a pair of leggings and a top and told to get changed and we made our way down to a dance studio. We had a Beyonce dance class and made a music video of Single Ladies. It was amazing, the teacher was great and we had dress up stuff too which just made it all the funnier. This is me and my mum....
Then just before we done the video my sister pulls these out the bag, along with another 4 bottles of Prosecco...
By this point it was about 3.30 and I was horribly drunk (think drunker than you should be at midnight sort of drunk) as this photo proves...
But we soldiered on.... to another bar for more cocktails... Photos are getting worse....
At this point my best friend had to step in and give me a pep talk and took me to the hotel, made me a coffee and threw me in the shower. Like some kind of miracle it worked and 20 mins later we were back out in a taxi going to dinner..
We went to Buger and Lobster (if you've never been, then go, its incredible)
After dinner and a few more drinks I was whisked back off in a taxi and to a karaoke bar which is my actual idea of hell. My sister knows this, what the hell is she thinking. Well turns out that she knows me better than I know myself. Yes, singing in front of people that I dont know gives me the fear but apparently singing with my friends in a private booth is actually alot of fun! We started off as we meant to go on with me and my bestie singing screaming along to a bit of RATM!
I have no idea what we're singing here but possibly the Grease megamix!
After that we were all far too drunk to take any more photos, but did manage to go for a dance in another bar before my body finally gave up and had to be 'helped' back to the hotel.
I loved it. Every second of it was amazing and I'll never forget the parts that I do remember!!
Now only 32 days until the wedding!!
