Don't know - my BMs are keeping it all secret. I know where I'm going, and it's a hotel with spa attached so that will probably feature somewhere in the day!

I went to Edinburgh for one night / 2 days. The only thing we all did together was a meal & dancing at night - no one would agree to the same things during the day & I didnt want to sit in a pub all day long!

Definately have some sort of itineray / activities booked to keep everyone together.

I paid for myself, I guess it depends on the cost - I've heard of the hen not having to contribute to the activities but never to not pay for anything!

i didnt pay for the weekend (except for my massage and drinks on the night out!)

when my CBM emailed everyone with possible costs she had split the cost of me across everyones price. they then split responsabilites for what food/drink to take to cotages. they even refused money off me 2 pay for my sunday roast!

Oh right. Well i'm assuming i'll be paying for myself. i don't want to do anything too expensive either because i'm conscious of how much the hens would be paying and would feel very guilty if they had to pay for me on top of their own costs!

I only paid for my drinks; everything else was covered.

My friend thought that I shouldn't have to pay for anything on my hen night so she followed me round with a wad of cash. She paid for the karoke for me, drinks, my meal and the cost for me to get into a club. A couple of my friends couldn't afford to go clubbing so she paid for them as well.

She also paid for my eyelashes and the whole hairdressing bill (me, my daughter, my BM and another friend) on my wedding day.

I love her and not just because she's rich and generous!

I was going to have a weekend abroad, which changed to Blackpool, which is now cancelled altogether. I have a 12 yr old sister who is also a BM and I am not under any circumstances willing to leave her out.

Have decided to go out with BMs and Mums for a nice meal and cocktails (for those over 18 obv - but its a family place so 12 ys old can still go) and then we have hired a local hall and a DJ and are going to have an actual HEN PARTY! Then home to my own bed, means all friends and family can make it, and theres no pressure on this wild partying weekend - which is so not for me anyway, so am v.glad, can't wait actually!

We hired a cottage in the Cotswolds, we had a meal in on Friday, then went punting in Oxford on Saturday, followed by a party in the cottage (lots of cava, hen games and Singstar).

It was perfect and exactly what I wanted. The weather was amazing too.

I don't know what I'm having! My CMB is organising it with my other BM. All I know at the moment is that it's probably happening on the weekend of 14th July. I don't drink and hate busy bars and clubs so I reckon it will be like a big girlie sleepover with a spa or getting someone in to do facials or something, maybe a meal out, some fun games etc. I know there is a facebook page about it (my cousin cannot keep a secret to save her life!) and I'm doing my best to resist looking for it as I know how much effort my CBM will put in to making sure it's perfect for me and she'd be gutted if I spoilt the suprise!
