My first hen party is this Friday, we're just having facials/manicures. We're then off to an for an italian meal with lots and lots of cocktails. We have 2 more planned in the run up but one is joint with my h2b and his friends so some peep's get to meet before the big day

Oh I feel very boring now.

I'm spending a day at a spa place swimming etc, with 2 treatments (yet to be decided, I'm no good at making decisions) but thats just me and my bridesmaids due to costs.

Then a meal that evening for everyone who wants to attend.

We are off to benidorm for 5 days and only cost £175.

Im also having a home hen night where I think we might go for a meal and drinks and people can attend which ever part they want as I have some pregnant friends who would like to come but won't be staying the whole night.

My work friends also want to arrange one for me! I was going to combine home ones but there will be too many people.

6 of us going to dinner with cocktails followed by seeing the musical of Dirty Dancing, then meeting up with some of the girls from work to go on to bars, dancing etc. Staying over in city centre hotel with those who want to, and out for brunch next day.

I don't think it's the cost of getting abroad or even accommodation. But I was asked to stump up a couple of hundred when bridesmaid a few years ago, I had to decline. The thought of the spending money and rounds and eating out would have far surpassed the amount that was spent getting me there...

For that reason (and our tight budget) we're having a meal at San Carlos for mine, followed by cocktails/night out for anyone who wants to come. I suppose the oldies will tail off after the meal, maybe?

If not I'm ditching them by 10pm ?

I am going to Alton Towers. Arriving at lunchtime on the Saturday. Spending the afternoon in the spa. Evening enjoying the entertainment and Sunday in the theme park. Think it cost £95pp inc B&B, spa entry fee and theme park tickets. X

I'm not sure about mine, I think early dinner somewhere then comedy store in London, then cocktails. Nothing too wild as I can't handle hangovers anymore!

On the topic of Hen Do's - I’m doing some market research on a possible launch of a Hen Do Magazine. I was wondering if you could possibly take up a couple of minutes of your time to fill out this quick survey. It’s fun and it would really help me out a lot

Were going to Butlins Minehead for a 90s theme 18+ weekend with my closet friends (Brilliant weekend for hen and stag parties definitely recommend). Then my 2nd hen night is a meal, lots of drinks and a club in town with family and friends.

We went to Edinburgh for mine. For £160 each we had 2 nights in 4 star apartmements with views over the Firth of Forth. We also had a meal at an italian restaurant on the Friday. Saturday consisted of Belly Dancing Class, and Cocktail making which was so much fun. We defintely got alot for our money and I had the most amazing time!

I'm having a very cheesy Grease 2 themed night! Bowling and karaoke, cocktails and boogieing the night away. Just having one night out as me and all my friends have kids. It's working out at £70 each including a few surprises that no one is telling me about! (I'm assuming/hoping they'll be a stripper!!!)

I'm having a combined hen weekend and 30th birthday. Hiring my mum's holiday cottages at a knockdown rate (tho with 15 of us, some will be sleeping on floor!). Friday night is for drinking, nibbles, Sing Star, chatting etc. Saturday day big BBQ, then Saturday night cocktail making in Leeds followed by a trip to the Cockpit. Sunday will be for chilling! Can't wait Smiley smile

Hiya - I live in Blackpool so if you would like some suggestions where to go, please let me know. What I really would recommend is starting your night at Legends Show on Central Pier. Its a fabulous night and you can have a few drinks whilst watching the show. It really gets you in the mood for a great party night. x

Booked it all through the Alton towers reservations team. About £30 cheaper than the package a hen company was charging.

They have 6 beded rooms so we have 2 of those, 2 4 beded and 1 twin. The rooms come with breakfast. Then the tickets we got on a group discount added onto the hotel reservation. Once that was booked with reservations they put me through to the spa directly so I could book the package I wanted with them.

My moh has recently booked the meal as that is something we couldn't do so far in advance.

We're being a tad extravagent, I have to admit, but since OH's brother is in the states and EVERYONE I know is in the states and Canada, we're off to Vegas for a week. It's more of a vacation that hen and stag, but there will be separate Hen/Stag events while we're there. His parents are coming, too, and his Aunt. As for my side, I'm trying to convince my mum to come and hang out with his parents, and I've got all my close female friends coming, and I think my brothers and sister are as well!

So, a week in Vegas just before christmas this year (even though it's 6 months before the wedding, I dont care, we wanted to do it then so we didn't waste vacation days in 2013!)

Hi, These all sound amazing hen nights. If you fancy wearing a pretty or quirky fascinator to make yourself or your hens stand out then have a look at my new website. I have just started it and have a facebook page with pics too.

My MoH is organising mine, i choose who was invited but know nothing else! My control freak side is having palpitations, but on the other hand i hate it when people say they will come and don't turn up or bicker over who is sharing with whom!

I will also have a work night out and a spa day with mum and aunt!
