Well, I'm doing a weekend in Manchester, but there are lot's of cheap ideas, like Butlins, or staying in a caravan, or have a girlie pamper day at home, get ready together, then go out in the evening?

I am still trying to work it out - met with one of my 2 closest friends last night - they have been talking and come up with a "Barbie" themed hen party in Birmingham city cenre plus a hen night abroad for a smaller select few..

..I feel really rude for saying this, but I can't imagine anything worse than a Barbie theme, and I don't fancy going abroad as I know I will be stressed sorting wedding things by them.!

    When do you get married?

I would have liked to go to the edinburugh arts show which is on in August - but too late for my wedding.! haha.

If you google My City Deal, you can sign up for daily offers for your city. I live in Manchester, and regularly get offers for half price spa days, bogof meals etc.

Another good site is lastminute.com, they also do spa days, experience days, theatre tickets etc, all cheaper than usual.

Or, if you want to stay at home, you can quite often book mobile beauticians to come out and do manicures etc, have a good old fashioned girly night in with plenty of wine, and soppy films, or you could maybe even book something like an Ann Summers or Virgin Vie party.

    Hope that helps a bit....?

I'm having an overnight stay in a spa which includes 2 days in spa, lunch, 3 course evening meal in the hotel and breakfast the next day and a treatment. This is costing £100 each. We paid for it months ago so people have forgotten about the money they've spent by now. We only need drinking money and we're planning on having a few bottles in the hotel rooms throughout the day!

I'm also having a night out on the town in a 70's club which i'm yet to arrange....
