I went to one where the theme was 'breakfast in Tiffany's'! It was amazing, we all had LBD's, sparkly jewellery and tiaras! We went to a casino in Manchester where we had a cocktail making class and a meal before we took over the roulette tables! Then we had a section reserved at tiger tiger. There was about 25 of us so we made an impression....

My BM is organising the little details of my hen so it'll be a surprise but I've been on hen nights/weekends with:

    - 80's fancy dress (she was born in the 80's)

    - Scottish fancy dress (family originally from Scotland)

    - Wigs. Everyone wore silly brightly coloured wigs.

I was a boring cow and just had some mates round for a piss up. Left it a bit late, plus don't deal well being centre of attention (how the hell I'm going to deal with being a bride, I don't know), so that seemed easier. Oh, and I'm old, lol, so the veil and L plat thing isn't really me.

I had a retro theme and it was fun to see how everyone took it onboard and it meant some dressed up with few accessories, others really went for it. We had a meal and then dancing and purposefully did it quite cheaply as I personally didn't want everyone paying out loads for my night when they also had the wedding to come. It was a great night and just shows it doesn't always have to be expensive.
