Hen night help

Kazalia, 23 June, 2009 at 15:04 Posted on Planning 0 3

Hallo, I have ventured over from baby talk as I need some help with my cousins hen night.

Basically, she wanted something a bit civilised, not too much drink etc. I had loads of ideas for places we could go that did meal and entertainment, but the other 2 bridesmaids decided that hiring a function room in a posh hotel and getting a meal was the best idea.

So that's what has been done, but now we have a bit of a problem. We have booked at a fairly rural location, only 11 peaple are coming, we have the room from 7 til midnight. The hotel will provide a cd player, but that's it as far as entertainment goes.

This is where I need help - what on earth can we organise to keep 11 people occupied for 5 hours, preferably not expensive as the room hire is costing a bomb? (we only have 3 weeks to sort this, and it has suddenly been decided that entertainment is my job, I'm not happy, but I want to come up with something as I want my cousin to have a good night)

Is it possible to set a TV and Playstation up in the room and play Singstar or Guitar Hero or something?

What about buying some DIY spa/beauty treatments and all lounging about in the hotel room trying these out? The combination of alcohol and mud facepacks might be quite amusing! How civilised does she want it?

Thanks - will ask about a tv, then I could take my ps2 or wii along which could be a laugh - we could do mud pack faced boxing!!

Does anyone have any thoughts on any games we could play?
