Hen night ideas

wee-lou, 21 February, 2011 at 20:12 Posted on Planning 0 10

Im having my hen night at my house in April and have absolutley no idea what to do for it. Anyone got any ideas for a right good night that would suit all ages from 20's - 60's?

I like the singstar idea - and the Wii sports would be equally funny!

How many people will there be in total? Have you considered a Butlins type holiday park for a weekend away - they do certain theme nights etc.

Or a cottage in the country.

Sorry it wasn't until I re-read that I saw the "at home" - stupid me! Also so know what you mean about spending faster than earning.

We played "mr and mrs" at Xmas - me & OH, v Bro & GF v Dad and stepmom v Stepsis and BF. It was very fun and with a bit of question re-write could be re-made into a game about how well certain members of the bridal party etc know each other?

From a google I found this old thread:

What about a murder mystery? i did this for my 21st as there would be a range of ages there.

i dowloaded one of the internet for about £20, it gave character information, background infor, who their alies and enemies were and their missions for the evening and a host/narratiors script to run the evening.

it was great fun, i sent out the character info in advance and some people turned up having revised their info and and a list of notes and who to talk to and as soon as they arrived they were in character. others hadnt even read their info but we all had a great time! and it doesnt have to be fancy dress!!

I am having a cocktail night with lots of funny games, like a mr and mrs thing and a willy hoopla lol also thinking about splitting people into teams and giving them a white sheet and a few other accessories each (maybe a cheap alice band and some white netting to make a veil) and they have 10mins to make a wedding dress....best one wins a prize! I have also names all the cocktails after certain things, like the hen night will be in southend so we are having sex on southend beach.

Cocktails, games (like mr & mrs) and what about a naked (well nearly) waiter to serve drinks?? I went to a hen do at someones house and was greeted at the door by a big muscly man in paints with a bow tie on! It was quite funny! xx
