Hen night ideas

ames2uk, 11 January, 2012 at 21:18 Posted on Planning 0 4

Hi Girls I need some suggestions of something to do for my hen night. I think we'll end up going into town in the evening for dinner/drinks (dressed as Kylie) but i need inspiration for an afternoon activitiy as part of me wants something *more* than just a meal. I thought of going to the races but one of my closest friends is getting married a month later and her bridesmaid has just announced they are doing the races for her hen

what suggestions have you got? I'm not really into paintballing/go karting/dancing and i don't really want a pamper thing. I'm one of those annoying people who doesnt know what I DO want, but I know what i DONT want lol

How about a matinee of a show?

Theme park? - but may be a bit much if off out round town at night!

    Cookery class?

    Spa Afternoon?

    Bowling?

Have you tried somewhere like groupon or wowcher to get cheap ideas and opportunities?

There are a lot of package deals that include hotel, afternoon activity, vip entry to bar etc.

I went to one that was an 80's dance workshop and then a comedy show. We had meal in the middle but this was just paid seperatly.

The packages include things such as cocktail making, burlesque dancing, tresure hunt, go karting etc

I think my main problem is there's not an awful lot of things to do in Suffolk which takes out the idea of a show or theme park or anything that basically involves travel.

I've had a little look at groupon but to be honest their deluge of emails on a daily basis really pisses me off so half the time i just delete them as i've never found anything worth having on there!

I would like to have afternoon tea somewhere really posh in london and then go to a show, but I'm not planning mine - so who knows what could happen!

I agree i am not planning mine. My MOH is so who knows. She said there is 3 parts to the day planned and she couldn't tell me what they were but the middle is a meal and i could invite the girls from work or just a few but then thy couldn't be involved in the last aprt which i am presuming is a hotel or something we have to travel or maybe something i have to go and watch. I decided though i would just do something seperate with the girls from work as then i wouldn't feel rude getting off after them coming out. Also i would mean i get 2 hen nights lol.
