Hen Night in York

I went to uni in York so know it very well it depends what you are looking for - 'nice' bars or bars which are a bit more relaxed? There is big revolution if you are after something more mainstream, and a Yates. Some nice cocktail bars are evil eye, bobo lobo and kennedys.

Pubs there are plenty, but a nice one with a good range of beers is pivni. Something very touristy but always nice is to go for afternoon tea at Betty's. It is quit expensive and there is always a queue (I would definitely book if you can) or alternatively go to little Betty's which is just down the road on stonegate. In terms of vintage makeover I am not sure but there are regular vintage fairs on (run by Britain does vintage) who have people who do hair etc there - I would say go on their website and look for the recommended supplier there
