Hen packages

RedRose14, 20 August, 2013 at 17:08 Posted on Planning 0 6

Hi

Has anyone used ever used a hen weekend package? Can anyone recommend a website?

I'm thinking cocktail making and a night out in Birmingham and stop over night in a hotel. I was thinking of a package because I would think it would be easier, but would appreciate to know other peoples experiences!

Any help would be greatly appreciated Smiley laugh

My OH is using chillisauce for his stag do to Krakov (or however you spell it).

Although I think the boys will be paying a little bit more than if they booked all the activities and accommodation separately he and his best man like the fact that they don't have to worry about collecting money from everyone- each stag logs in and pays the website directly and also someone from chillisauce coordinates the whole thing for them.... Much less stress.

This is my thinking too, don't want to be chasing people. I looked at Freedom, which Hitched took me to, and prices seem very reasonable, not a lot more if paid separately (according to quote). Anyone used this company??

I have looked into both sites, not upsure what i want for my hen night yet, fed up of them ringing me everyday though now, I only wanted some info! Sorry no help there and just a whinge but I am thinking the same of you, it does sound easier to gather money off everyone.

    Hi,

We did Style me Quirky in London for my youngest daughter`s hen do, and we did a Tudor banquet in London for my eldest. Both were fantastic

Not quite Birmingham but we went to Derby for my hen weekend. We stayed in the Cathedral Quarter Hotel which is pretty central and we had a champagne afternoon tea, cocktail lesson, 3 course dinner and night in the hotel with breakfast for £130.

The original package was slightly more expensive but they couldn't fit us in for the spa treatment so we didn't have that. I also had some people that only came to parts of the day so they were pretty flexible with our booking.

The other good thing was that people paid individually on checkout so there wasn't any hassle with trying to get the money up front!

I decided not to book a package in the end due to numbers but I found Maximise were very helpful and seemed reasonable.

I'd avoid Red7 unless you want to be called 4 times a day!

    Hi

My MOH used Maximise, they were very good. But please be aware that you may have to put a deposit down on hotels as a hen party. I had to put down £500.00 on my CC when we arrived and had it refunded straight back on same day so not really a problem.

We had a great time, a weekend in Cardiff and had dinner + drink clubs on Friday night, Saturday Cocktail session at Vodka Revs (with at least 8 cocktails each) and dreamboys + VIP entries into the clubs we went to Glam and Tiger Tiger. It was £149.00 this included hotel accommodation, cocktail session, dreamboys on Sat night and included breakfast. All the girls had to do was pay a £10.00 deposit and then whenever they can put instalments into the link they get sent under their name (you are charged £1 for every instalment). This was so useful because I couldn't get all the funds together at one time.

    Hope that helps x
