Hen party

Titchymichy, 6 July, 2014 at 10:15 Posted on Planning 0 2

Wondering if anyone else has similar issues about what to do for hen party?

my friends and I went to Magaluf last year for a friends hen weekend and we loved it and they are keen to go back but I can't afford the time or expense (realistically we can only go after school summer holiday but that's my busiest time at work). Some others I know won't be able to afford it too.

Some of the ladies have never met and move in very different circles and I'm not sure every one will get on. I don't want to have multiple hen events. Right now I'm not even sure about having 1! Anyone got ant tips for a successful harmonious hen?

Keep it simple, keep the cost down and maybe have a couple of bits, like an afternoon bit and an evening so people can choose what to come to. It means you can invite older relatives in the day who might not like the evening bit.

    I agree!

I went to an afternoon tea hen do and lots of older relatives were there and then we all met up again later for cocktail making etc. Some people did both some just one or the other. Was really good!

I loved mine and planned it all myself!

in the afternoon I hosted a garden tea party for everyone....caters came and did afternoon tea with all the trimmings and china at a good rate and I provided lots of Prosecco. Mums were there and friends with babies brought them. Was very chilled out.

Then in the evening went to my favourite restaurant for cocktails and a great meal. Some friends did both, some did what suited them and I have a great time.

Do what you want and everyone else will buy into it enthusiastically I promise!
