Hen Party Question...

Choods87, 10 February, 2015 at 15:24 Posted on Planning 0 4

Hi fellow hitchers!

I have a question in regards to my Hen Party - my wonderful bridesmaids are organising this and asked me to come up with a list which I excitedly did. There have been texts and RSVPs already but I suddenly had a mad panic about some of the invited hens - basically I have invited friends regardless of whether they are Day/Evening guests - should I have only invited day guests? Would you feel miffed if you were invited to a hen and then only recieved an evening invitation?

We are due to send out our invitations in April so some of the hens will not be aware of whether they are evening or day guests until after they have committed to the party.

Help! I don't want to come across as a mean bride!

Mrs-L-to-be xx

I personally wouldnt mind if i was only going to the evening party. I think people understand that people have budgets and locations have max numbers.

I've invited day and night people - and even someone I forgot to invite (now invited, but that was embarrassing!)

I don't think it matters TBH. I've been invited to a couple of hen do's where I was only invited to the evening reception and I wasn't offended. Likewise, I've invited a few friends to my hen do and they are only coming to the evening do - none of them, (to my knowledge,) are upset or offended by this. I think you'll be fine!
