Hen Weekend

Becklarrr, 19 February, 2013 at 14:43 Posted on Planning 0 10

I'm not planning mine for a while yet but I was just looking on the internet and saw this!

Would any of you consider glamping for your hen do? It is different and looks quite good fun!

Um, YEAH!! We were going to go down the glamping route, but the company we wanted to use were booked up that weekend- so they offered us alternative accommodation- an old converted Scout Hut and Mission Hall, which we snapped up! Before you judge...check out the website! (and bear in mind that our theme is 'The Famous Five':

Think you should go for it. Think BBQs and campfires and toasting marshmallows...no better excuse to be big kids again.

    Hiya,

I was going to go with the bath hen weekend company! They look brilliant-the only reason we didn't go for it in the end is because we will be travelling by train from Essex and wanted to be a bit closer to the city centre but I think it looks fab so I'd say go for it!

Not for me. I like to be comfortable and would neevr stay somewhere where I had to get up in the night, pull on clothes and boots to use the toilet.

I like my creature comforts far too much, and the older I get (ripe age of 29) the less I do things I don't want to do.

I'd consider it for a weekend break maybe but not as a hen weekend , like Clarehj, I like my creature comforts, plus-staggering with a full bladder to an en-suite , in a drink induced stupor during the night is as far as my legs would be willing/able to stretch. ?

I love the idea of this but my hen do will be in February so it's wayyy too cold for any kind of camping, glaam or not!

I'd defo look in to doing this just for a weekend away though.
