Hen/Stag Weekends - Anyone used Redseven?

GEMINIBEBE, 24 March, 2010 at 17:29 Posted on Planning 0 6

Hi Ladies

On the 'brink' of booking my hen weekend just waiting to hear from some hens atm.

Has anyone had any experience of using Redseven?

Cheers?

I emailed them and they called me weekly for about a year! They bugged me too much to book with them! They had some good deals though!

Yeah they have quoted me happy with a good little package. I tend not to give my phone number out, or I put mine in with one digit wrong so they cant phone me. I prefer email, that way I can file them in my spam folder when they get on my nerves!!!

I enquired via email (to do this you had to enter a phone number - gave them the home one as I'm never there anyway). Had a week of coming back to at least 1 message per day, then when I called to tell them that I couldn't afford to do anything 'extravagant' & to stop calling me, they were only then calling me 3 times a week for the next 3 months!

Do not give them your number!!!

I used them to organise a friend's hen night. We did their package where you go for a meal in Covent Garden and then you're picked up and driven around the West End in a fire engine before being dropped off at a club.

The idea is excellent although I was unimpressed by RedSeven. It was a combination of lots of small things. We were missold the package in terms of numbers and it started off costing us another £10 a head. When we then paid, we were charged an additional £2pp for paying by card - there was no other way of paying.

We had to pick from a set menu at the restaurant - fine. When the bill came, the food which should have been covered by RedSeven was £40 short so we had to stump up for that. We were one bottle of bubbly short on the fire engine. You get the picture - it was one thing after another. I phoned to complain the day after and they did nothing about it.

I would never use them again to organise a hen party and have asked my bridesmaids not to use them as a point of principle for mine.

Similar experiences of other hens - very pushy! Asked them to look into packages abroad and she did come back with a really good deal but not flights, which havent come out yet. She was like just book now flights will only cost £80 etc etc and im like there is no way i am booking a holiday before I check about flights and prices - arent taking your word for it! She was really pushy so i was very firm! Agree with the number thing - spammed with emails too!
