Just thought id introduce myself!

Im laura and im 22 years old, i got engaged to my partner tony at 00:00 01/01/2011, weve been together since 14/02/2007 and also have a gorgeous 3 year old daughter together Smiley smile

we have our date set as saturday 8th december 2012 at 2pm Smiley smile im majorly excited i cant wait!

weve booked langtons house in hornchurch for our cermony, but have yet to find a replacement reception venue as the hall we were originaly going to have is now being knocked down in july!

our colour scheme is dusty lilac & fusia, weve so far bought our bridesmaids dresses, my dress, his suites will be ordered at end of april, our photographer is booked, our sit down meal will be done by our local chippy then our evening buffet will be done by my mother in law, she is also doing our cake.

the rings we want are in h samuel but cant get these until im back in work, after being made redundant twice between july & december last year then only being able to find a temp job which ends in 2 weeks time!

Well thats me and my maybe a little long introduction Smiley smile thanks for reading, laura x

Hi and welcome! Sounds like you have things pretty much sorted, and I hope you get a job again soon. Other than the rings, I can't see anything else you need - don't sweat the small stuff, as they say! Have you got a local village hall you can use for the reception? Or a pub you can book exclusive use?

Weve looked at a few local halls but they wernt big enough for what we need, we did however find a local social club which we could hire out if we can get hold of someone who is a full ciu member of it Smiley smile think all that is left after is the flowers!

? Congrats and welcome. I looked at Langtons up when we were making up a shortlist of venues, it's a lovely building. I thought you could have your reception there too though? Sounds like your plans are coming along nicely.
