There used to be a registry office in Cardiff (?) that we all used to log onto on a friday afternoon and watch the weddings which was fun.

You do realise that August will be incredibly busy if you're thinking for 2009, the best thing to do is find your local office and go along and have a look, some are gorgeous, some are not so that will probably swing it for you.

If you let us know your area we can help you look for other venues that hold civil ceremonies

    Hi - Welcome to Hitched

There are two webcams on this link - scroll down and click on either of the rooms to view the weddings taking place

OK, the registry office in Gwent will be the cheapest option for you, I believe a civil wedding costs £300, there are other venues in the area but they will charge you more for the hire of the venue etc.

The there is a church wedding, which also doesn't have to be that expensive and can be quite small, depending on your choices.

ETS - this website may also have some information on it
