high street suit hire

chicken82, 2 September, 2008 at 14:46 Posted on Planning 0 11

Ok, i know there is moss bros, debenhams and ive just discovered that burtons do suit hire too. Are there any other high street shops that do it that i dont know about?

Have any of you used any of these - were they good?

I think burtons has the cheapest package ive seen so far - and thats very important!!

I think we looked at every shop possible (which I can't think of many at the moment) but we are going with Burtons. They looked good IRL and the price is quite a bit cheaper than some places. Also my FIL2B can get measured at his local one.

Hi we are using Youngs hire (in a shop called suits you) and our wedding party is being measured for their suits in 3 different locations across the uk, also as we have hired 5 the groom gets his for free and we get our suits a week before the wedding.

    Hi,

Just thought I would chip in with some advice (I hope thats Ok),

There are lots of High Street Suit HIre companies:

    Moss Bros (Biggest)

Youngs (are part of SRG group which is suits you, suits direct etc.)

    Burtons

    Debenhams

    Greenwoods

    & Pronuptia

I am sure there are others but cannot think of them all right now.

I would suggest also having a look at the small independent menswear shops that are about. There are literally hundreds and most of the time they will offer a very high quality level of customer service (and product) without always being expensive.

My advice would be to visit some shops and get the men to try the EXACT suit they will receive on the day. This will allow the guys to judge the quality, condition and fit of the goods they will receive on the day.

I hope this helps some, if you need any inspiration with the guys suits you are welcome to browse my site and blog www.jackbunneys.co.uk

    Thanks

    Marc

We are going to use Slaters for the chaps suits. They have been so helpful & friendly every time we have been in.
