Sorry no experience here but had a sneaky peek on google being nosey, looks lovely ?
Will look really fancy for a wedding saw a few pics on their websites with the tables all done up etc, don't think you can go wrong with Hilton either you know you're going to get a really good service

Thanks MM. Well the other half liked it and they seem to have lots of weddings there, I just wish I could speak to someone with experience of the place. I usually read every single review on stuff before I part with my money so I am finding it difficult to give the thumbs up!

Can you ask the venue for testimonials from previous couples who had their wedding there? Most hotels/venues etc will ask for them from couples so maybe that would give you a good idea about what weddings are like there?

Apparently, due to confidentiality reasons they are unable to pass on any testimonials. How strange, I'm not asking for their bank account details, just if they've enjoyed their day!

I still want to get married there, but just as a last ditch attempt I have emailed the two venues that I loved but were over budget, to see if they can do anything in our budget. A whole day later and I have had no reply. Maybe they are all two busy laughing their arses off!

Thanks, that's good to hear. Every staff member I have dealt with has been wonderful and this gives me huge confidence in them.
