Hit me with your shoes!!

Not literally, pictures will do!

I have set myself the task of choosing and buying my wedding shoes by September. I want to have something in the house I can 'ooh and aah' over and be my first 'me' thing instead of just general wedding stuff. (Also, I'm having my first dress fitting with the seamstress in September to get an idea of what needs doing to the dress and a quote for the alterations, so it would be nice to wear the actual shoes I'll get married in!)

So flash me your shoes, or your favourite shoes or any shoes you think would go lovely with an ivory wedding dress!

I'm completely open to ideas. I can't decide between coloured shoes or more 'traditional' ivory shoes. I have a budget of up to £500 but I can't decide if I want to splash out on designer shoes or not really. (Probably more likely to splash out on coloured shoes, as I'll wear them again). If high heels, am also likely to want a pair of flats for dancing later.

Show me the shoooes!

    Here's mine. They're my second pair after we changed our plans.


    I'd go for coloured shoes. "Traditional" wedding shoes are just a tad dull, and you're not dull.

    I'm too lazy to flash but I say go with colour. Mine are bright pink and sparkly :p

    I had two pairs... a gorgeous ivory suede pair from Rachel Simpson for the day and a turquoise pair (which I blinged up) for the evening - party shoes!!

    I'd go for colour, or at least something you can dye and wear again. No point having lovely shoes if you only get to wear them once!

    I havent picked any yet... but they will definatly be coloured! And proberly leopard print just because thats very me!! ?

    These are my shoes. I liked them when I bought them, but love them now. I've added a zebra print insole and added swarovskis to the heels.

    These are mine. Not very traditional at all! But I love them!!! I have a hair of sandals with crystals in the shape of a peacock feather from river siland for the night time, but I can't find a picture. x

    Seeing all the pictures makes it even harder to choose! You have some great shoes Smiley smile I'm very impressed by the people who added their own bling - does that take long to do?

    If I go for colour shoes, I do love these:


    But they are immensely high so I really don't know how much wear I'd reaslistically get out of them. For the more traditional shoes I quite like these:


    I think I'd manage to keep these on a bit longer!! And I'd still have budget for a coloured pair as well... *ponders*

    There are so many shoes to choose between - KirstyCat, yours are really funky! I've never seen them before Smiley smile I also like the VW ones that a_white_izzy flashed, I think I've seen them in red too! Decisions decisions Smiley laugh

    I got these as I love them and will definitely wear them again.

    On the look out for some really comfortable champagne/coffee satin pumps for the evening so if anyone can recommend any please do!

    Ooh sounds lovely. They're quite comfy really considering the heel height but I'm definitely getting some flats for later in the evening just in case. How did yours fare on the day?

    It's very unfair that mine are sat in a box for another 10 months.

    They were really comfy though the sixpence stuck in it got a bit annoying! I changed into my fave pair of pumps for the disco though. I'd flash them but for some reason H won't accept any of my photos from this lap top!

    I'm not going to be able to do the sixpence thing due to the peep toes. Might be a blessing in disguise as I think it'd annoy me!

    I quite like these LK Bennett ones but haven't tried them to see how comfortable they are yet. They're in the sale though so I may have to stop procrastinating and just buy them.

    I stuck mine where the ball of my foot went. Just got a bit achey towards the evening. I used double sided sticky tape!
