May I make a suggestion for the animal charity? https://www.pussycatlodge.co.uk/

This is a non-profit organisation which takes in stray and unwanted cats. They don't get the publicity of say the RSPCA. And the rescue centre is basically run from a lady's back garden. It's a very worthy cause. Also, the thing I particularly approve of is the fact that they never put a healthy cat to sleep. They are staffed by volunteers "the mad cat ladies!" who give up loads of their free time to look after the cats. They rely on donations and fundraising events to keep going.

Please have a look at their website for more information.

Hope it was ok for me to post this. This really is such a great idea for a raffle.

For my prize you can choose any garter in my standard range, in your own choice of colours, and it can be personalised or not. Here's an example of the Daisy garter with names and wedding date showing on the outside of the garter:

I hope I manage to post the pictures ok - I've only done it once before so please bear with me.

The prize I would like to offer is 45 save the date cards (with envelopes) in one of the designs shown below. I would also offer to personalise the save the dates as much as the design chosen allows - colour, text, fonts and in the case of the 'photographic' design picture of your choice. The first two are current designs shown on my website and there are also some alternative images for the photographic design if anyone's interested -

The picture of the final design does not do the item justice as the paper used has a mettalic finish and looks really elegant (just waiting to have the professional photographs taken).

    Susan x.

I would like to nominate KidsCompany https://kidsco.org.uk/

Kids Company is a charity founded by Camila Batmanghelidjh in 1996 in order to provide practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children and young people.

Most of children who seek our help suffer from emotional and behavioural difficulties resulting from significant experiences of trauma and neglect. Many are ‘lone children’ living in chronic deprivation, with limited or no support from the adults in their family.

I heard camila speak about 6 months ago and when she finished about 1/2 the room were in tears. She is the most inpirational woman I have ever met and her charity is so, so worthwhile

I have no preference for the baby or animal charities, but my vote otherwise would be for cancer research uk or a breast cancer charity.

    some great prizes on here!

Have just got my tickets, but it seems a shame that because I ticked the raffle entry, the charity can not now get gift aid on top of my donation.

I had noticed that no-one seemed to have added Gift Aid but was getting no feedback from Just Giving as to why, thanks for letting me know. It must be a quirk for the legality surrounding Gift Aid that a raffle entry can't be claimed on. I agree with you, it is a real shame!

(Thanks for your donation however, will be emailing you shortly with your ticket information!)
