Hmmm, wot to do??

WhiteRose84, 4 February, 2011 at 16:49 Posted on Planning 0 3

Hi all - my sister (who is also one of our witnesses) has seen a dress she likes, the only problem is - it kind of clashes with my bridesmaids and flower girls. Adding to the problem, we only have 17 guests (so far) - but there's only 4 months to go - so I can't see the number increasing much!

What to do...?? xx

Tell her that because she has an important role in your wedding that you'd like her to match a little more... I'm sure she will understand

How many people have you invited?

Also, I think you have to just let your sister wear what she wants - any of your guests could turn up in something that clashes, or the same outfit as her, or the same outfit as your mum or something. Other than telling her she'll look terrible in the photos because the colours will be hideous together I don't think you should try to change her mind.

Sorry, my original post was badly written!

As we have a theme for bridemaids/flower girls - her dress is very similar... does that make sense?

@ lightmachine - we've invited 6 more on top of the 17. I understand your point!

Thanks girlies - I should just let her choose her own dress, I know ?

    Cheers! xxx
