Hmmmm.

Interesting wee bit of fluff from my personal life.

I have discovered that there are a significant number of people (in the real world) who are under the impression that the reason myself and the former Madame ONE parted company was due to, physical, domestic abuse on my part.

This is not the case.

I can admit to being a lazy, debaucherous, porn obsessed petrol head with a penchant for spending large sums of money on old things and traipsing ound the country at my bosses behest, doing this and that (and drinking a fair bit). But that's about it.... That's ONE (well, the downside anyway).

I won't bother listing her faults at this point, I'm sure I've done it before, But I'm, annoyed that she's said/done this and even more annoyed that it appears people believed her. And hand on heart I can think of two occasions on which I lifted hand to her, both involved simple restraint, and both involved removing car keys from her possesion when she was almost too drunk to stand and was attempting to drive.

I have explained this to the people I was talking to last evening and from the feedback I've received today, both in the real world and online it would appear that something of a schism has developed between people who believe... Either me or her.

There also appears to be some degree of 'teddy in the corner-ism' going on.

pish.

Fark, how horrible. You always seem fairlyself-aware of your faults, so to have new ones 'made up' as it were most be a bit grim.

I do hope you can move on from this a bit, and that the important people at least know the truth.

Jesus, what a cowbag. How hard for your friends though to have to decide who they believe - if they are equally close to both of you that is. Poor you.

    That's awful.

Thing is, I can sort of see where your friends are coming from if they are having doubts. It is such a terrible thing to say about someone that you can see how they might think that she wouldn't make something like that up. I mean its not your usual bitter rumour is it, its downright nasty. Does your ex come across as being reasonably sane, if so, like I said maybe that's why some of your friends are having doubts as it is just such an awful thing to lie about.

I hope she trips herself up soon and that your friends can see her for what she really is.

Y'see the thing is, if anyone, particularly a man, says that their ex was on of the most genuinely bitter, chip on shoulder, hate the world people alive, people automatically think "bitter split".

If he then embroiders it by saying that she was the only person he's ever met who would genuinely argue black was white and be capable of starting a fight in a room with just one other individual people tend to imagine that t's jut a bunch of cliches.....

All I can say is... You never lived with the ex Madame ONE.
