What things remind you of an ex.........

tbh nothing really reminds me of my ex hubby, oh apart from new hubby moaning about bills and money etc

the guy i lived with between hubbys

Mushrooms - he used to peel them, which i felt was a bit bizarre

baked beans - always ate them with loads of mayo - which actually is lovely and something i do now

sausage meat stuffing balls - unfortunately he was a veggie and had been for about 15 years and i accidently fed them to him ??

I'm really pleased to say that nothing reminds me of my ex. H is completely the opposite and thats one of the things I love most about him!

Ha! That cracked me up Max - I've got far too many too I'm sure.

For me with exes it's always music, but I have occasionally (in the early days) thought OH said or did or didn't like something that was one of my exes!

Try not to think of my ex. We finished in spectacular style after I found he cheated on me for 6mths. We'd been together 5years. There are a few little things but push them out my mind as soon as I think of them. Don't like thinking about the past.

I only had 2 long term boyfs before OH, both ending because they were cheating on me. The second got someone pregnant behind my back. Luckily OH is the complete opposite and I knew him while he was with his ex so I could see how he was in a relationship beforehand!

We used to go and see a lot of live acts/shows, but Mr T isn't really into all that so I have to find a friend or go on my own...hey ho. I'd much rather have Mr T than the ex any day!

Funny this thread should come up as for the first time i nearly called OH by ex's name last night.

He was messing around with his electric raser, kept putting it near my hair and that's something that the ex used to do and i said stop and the first part of his name. Luckily he didn't hear me coz he was laughing too much!

Last week I almost called my New Bloke the old nickname I had for Mr SP ... just stopped myself...

Mr SP and I used to have very expensive exotic holidays, and went to concerts etc, but New Bloke doesn't have the money for holidays (and couldn't cope with 2 weeks on a tropical Island doing nothing - he is Mr Active!), nor does he have the same taste in music as me (not as far as bands I'd pay heaps to see live anyhow) so in some ways thats good as I think music is the easiest way to get instantly transported back to an old relationship. That and smells - luckily New Bloke doesn't like the same aftershave as Mr Sp ...

I'm not sure there is anything so far thats really reminded me of Mr SP - goes to show how crap our relationship was in the end!

Funny you should ask, hadn't thought of him in ages until earlier in the car when Del Amitri's 'Nothing Ever Happens' came on the radio. Hadn't heard it in ages and he was a big Del Amitri fan!
