I've never really thought about this before now but a colleague is moving from a 'research and teaching' post to a 'administrative and professional management' post and asked me whether her annual leave entitlement would change or not. A quick look on my intranet HR pages game me my answer but I did notice this, how is this okay:
Admin and prof staff, grade 1-4 = 25 days plus 8 public holiday day and up to 5 uni closure days
Admin and prof staff, grade 4+ = 30 days plus 8 days public holiday days and up to 5 uni closure days
Is this normal? How is this fair!?
