Holidays

Trickers, 28 September, 2011 at 14:36 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 7

I have recently gotten it into my head that I want to go to Bora Bora, desperately!

I have been doing some research but cant find out how much the holiday would actually cost. I am guessing they dont do package holidays there and I have never booked a non-package holiday before.

I am guessing Bora Bora is ridiculously expensive......????

It's not cheap, but that's not to say you can't get it at less of a price than published in brochures.

Try Travel Counsellors, Trailfinders, Travel Zoo/ Travel Republic and try and book flights & accomodation seperately. Will save you money. Also mention it's your anniversary/birthday etc and they will give you upgrades!

It is on my list of places I really want to go to.. Every time I look it is expensive..

My Dad went a couple of years ago and said of all the places he has ever visited it was the most beautiful and relaxing..

Why did I read this post ?.

I too would love to go to BoraBora - all started off from a simple film which was based there... Grr.

Best prices I can find from a quick google are between £250 and £350 per person per night - around £7-10,000 on a room only basis plus airfare - so your looking at £14,000 plus food - say £100-£200 per night so £15,500 plus treats, spending money etc..

If we went it would be a short term, few nights as part of a larger tour.

It reminds me of Petit StVincent (https://www.petitstvincent.com/), another dream location of mine - £750 per night plus travel etc. We considered doing 3 nights there on honeymoon as part of a trip arround the carribean, but in the end, I didn't want to be packing/moving etc and just wanted to chill out.

Have given you some info. It's certainly not a cheap trip, particularly when you factor in our other plans, flights and spending money.
