We went to Menorca in May IQ, and it rained the whole week!

Thunderstorms, lightenening, the lot!

We are off to Majorca in August, Cala Sa Vincente (think that's how you spell it!) and I can't wait!

On Friday we're off to Plymouth for 2 nights, then up to Tintagel for 3 nights, then across to the New Forest for 3 nights. Fingers crossed it won't rain.

We've already been to Minneapolis this year (though that was more a fact finding visit), and are looking at Ibiza in September.

Absolute pants!! I read three books and smoked about 200 ciggies!!?

It's very hot in Majorca at the moment, butknowing our luck it'll piss again by the time we arrive!

We went to Tenerife in January so that's our holiday for this year, it rained once when we were there, but that was mild most times we go away abroad it rains!

We have booked to go to Barbados next March, I can't wait for that!

We had a week at my Dad's villa in Spain over the first May bank holiday but it rained for the last 3 days.

However, on Saturday we booked to go to Cuba for 2 weeks in late September. We leave 8 weeks yesterday and I can't wait. Got a real bargain too - £679 each for 2 weeks AI.

Now we're just praying for no hurricanes!

We're off to Mexico in 2 weeks time - I've got 2 weddings before then so it still seems ages away!

Off camping on the beautiful gower peninsula next week. Weather not looking great so hope it doesn't spoil it as our tent is only small.

No-where this year, saving (money and holiday days) for a mammoth motorbike tour of Europe next Spring instead!

A week in Corfu in September with the pal I went to Sharm with in January. She is huge fun and ever so slightly loopy so am really looking forward to it. Then a long weekend to a European city in the autumn with another pal - location not decided as yet. Dithering between Prague and Barcelona at the moment.

The main holiday is next March. Off with the parents on a 'Deep South' Tour of the US. Mum's dream is to visit Graceland and as it is her 60th this year, the decision was made that it's now or never. Very much looking forward to that trip.

We went to the south of France (Frejus) for a week in June which was lovely, then we're working all July & August and off for a week in Brittany mid September.

We're off to Rome at the end of next week. I can't wait. I've done Florence, Pisa and parts of the Italian coast but this will be my first trip to the capital and I'm really looking forward to it.

H is hoping to get funding to go to a conference in Houston in October and I'm hoping to get to go too!

We have just recently had 4 nights in Hastings visiting my husband's family. It was nice. We were hoping to get to France this year, too, but I have had to get a new job (had been working from home, for my husband's business, but needs must) and so am not sure about holidays etc. yet. The only time we have been abroad in over 11 years was 3 nights at Eurodisney. Our daugter had chicken pox and it rained for the entire time! ? We still had fun, though.

Im off to ibiza in september with my best mate and sister. then off to Mexico for new year and hopefully cyprus in october.

So far this year we've been for a long weekend in the peak district in a log cabin - that was in March

We've had a long weekend in Wales staying with some friends we've got who live there

In 13 days we're going on our Mini-moon to the peak district to stay in a log cabin again - just me and H as he'll be then, we've never been away on our own since our first holiday together 4 years ago so i can't wait for this!!

In October we're going to Florida for 3 weeks for our main honeymoon. We've got the first week on our own and then the last two weeks my parent's, grand parents, the friends from Wales and my uncle aunty and cousin are coming out to us.

I'm off to Dubai in November with a friend, apart from that I do want to get to the seaside for a weekend in August. This year's a bit odd as the past few years the ex and I had 2 or 3 trips abroad. This year he's off to the Isle of Wight with his new squeeze which will be fun for him. I think I was called snidey for saying that Dubai would be better. oops...

We're not going away until November but then we're doing a cruise around the cape of S.America from Santiago to Buenos Aires.

I'm off to Edinburgh on Sunday for a couple of days to stay in the Witchery and then off to Paris for seven days. I can't wait

I'm off with my mum to the Amalfi Coast in 9weeks and can't wait - really need a break.

Nothing else this year, but OH and I are toying with a few ideas for next year - somewhere in Italy, probably Sorrento; we'd love to go to Comic-Con in San Diego in July, maybe do a 2week flydrive from LA; and then back to Italy with my mum again.

Will have to see how the finances stretch.

I'm just back from an amazing trip to South Sinai where I did a yoga course, learned how to windsurf (so so badly and with hilarious results) and climbed Mount Sinai. Later in the year I am plannin to get to ibiza for another yoga retreat followed by the end of season celebrations (think of it as detox followed by retox) and H and I are supposed to be going to India in Novemeber, but, well, who knows whether we'll do that. I'll read this thread for some inspiration in case I find myself with a november hoiday slot!

We had our main hols in february when we when to india, which was a tour of north india for the first week and a weeek in goa for the second. fab ?

we're off to ireland a week on friday for a weekend in dublin, and in september we're going for a week touring italy

I went to Marbella with H and friends in June which was lovely.

Off to Dubai in October with H which I am really excited about.
