Just finished making all my day invites, following our coffee and cream theme, Have a few more pictures, but I've been having trouble flashing photos at the moment, keep getting error codes! Smiley sad

I'll keep trying, I was quite please considering most things I make look like a 7 year olds art projects!

It did take a good 2 days to do around 40! doesn't look like they took that long, although getting very frustrated with all the error codes! Want to put the other pictures on!

Try shrinking your pics on your PC before you upload them - I get that message with huge high res photos, but not with smaller ones. HTH!

    But the invites look loveley.

Actually ClaireLou, what paper size is this? Trying to find ways of what we want to do and these look great...I take it you will just put the invites etc in as inserts?

Ah ah , shrinking the pictures worked a treat- thanks for the advice! (the thought dime bar comes to mind!) Excuse the tatty edges of the card this is the one i've been using as a template!

Its an A5 card for the actual brown main bit of the invite, my cousin is a graphic designer so he did those for us, they are more of a gloss but the pictures dont show. then we got a piece of A4 hammered effect card and folded it around- although this did leave a 2 mm gap in-between we think it looked nice and gave a glimpse of the invite. We ironed the card (I say 'we' OH did one! haha) to give crisp edges.

Then I used A3 sugar paper 'borrowed' from my department at school resource cupboard, and used a trimmer to create A4 length strips of the brown paper, used a craft puncher to create the holes to thread the ribbon through.

We have then put all the extra info inside the invite and it is a really snug fit so everything stays put!
