Honeymoon!

Oooooohhh decisions, decisions!! I don't know, but i'm leaning slightly more towards Mexico from the link that you've posted. Either way, you're in for sunshine........I'm extremely jealous!!

We went to Mexico 3 years ago and stayed in the hotel next door to that one. I've been to Dom Rep as well but if the prices are similar I'd definitely be going for Mexico! I don't know anyone who's been and not loved it.

That is really tough one I have been next door to the Domrep one, and we honeymooned in Mexico.

I'd pick Mexico again because our hotel there was more luxurious, and I think from looking at your choices the same is perhaps true (We had a little tour of the DR one and IMO it looked a little dated -same as the room you can see in the pic) that said - the restaurant options look better in DR, and I thought the Bavoro beach was the best i've ever been to, much nicer than Mexico, albeit Mexico was amazing too.

I would also prefer adults only, so that would sway me towards mexico.. Oooh hard decision! When would you go? I say this because it it's Aug - Sept I would go with Mexico due to DR being in the malaria zone and Mexico being fine.

We had decided on Mexico, then OH decided to phone Thomas Cook and they gave us a price for DR. It's a little cheaper, but Mexico is adult only and I do not like kids...

I also say Mexico, and I decided that before reading the replies here. Looks amazing and adults-only would sway me if it's a honeymoon.

Mexico!! We've just got back from 10 days in Playa Del Carmen. Your hotel looks amazing firstly (I loved our swim up bar!) but Mexico itself is amazing and so beautiful, and Playa Del Carmen - which I think you'd be near, is gorgeous and really chilled.

The beach by us was just beautiful and the sea was so warm ❤️

There are also lots of cool places you can day trip too - like Xcaret and Chichen Itza. I've already said this to Baby Pink who went to Xcaret too - it was honestly one of the best days of my life!

I only went and booked it!! We're off to Mexico! We couldn't turn down the adults only and the excersions look brilliant (Xcaret is the one that we like).

Xcaret is an absolute must!! I may have gone a bit OTT about it to Lamby before her hol but it seems she enjoyed it just as much as I did ? We went in 2009 right after the swine flu outbreak (we were on the last flight out before they were all cancelled) so didn't get to do Chichen Itza as the government closed it during our stay, but I hear it's fantastic. Xcaret though, oh its just wow!!
