Honeymoon clothes

DrBuffles, 23 July, 2013 at 13:07 Posted on Planning 0 6

Has anyone else started buying for honeymoon with a year still to go?

I think i may be mental! In the last few weeks I've spent a small fortune on underwear (it was in the sale) and today i bought a beach dress! i don't get married until next August.

What is wrong with me?!?! someone else tell me they did this so i don't fee like such a mad woman!

Just over 6 months to go and i have pretty much done my honeymoon shopping. I have convinced myself that everything must be new for honeymoon plus there will be no summer clothes in the shops in Feb.

    So fear not.

Hahaha! I have been doing this as well - we are on honeymoon in December and I have bought loads already - a lot even before the sales, with the excuse of 'it might not be there by the time the sales come round and i like it'!

I would say just enjoy it - you only get the excuse once really! x

    Thank you!

I feel better knowing I'm not the only one that thinks things need to be new for the honeymoon!

It is mostly sales shopping, and mostly super bargains, so that is how i am justifying it.

Nice to know I'm not alone!

Ooh you're not mad you're a genius! Now that you've mentioned it I realise I totally have an excuse to do this too! I won't be able to find any 'summer clothes' if I leave it until just before April after all! Now if Mr Mooshy kicks up a fuss I'll point him in the direction of this thread for justification... ?

Shopping can be done at anytime in a year, if the cost is low then why not shop before the occasion.
