honeymoon deliberations!! help needed!

gembo888, 29 February, 2012 at 14:44 Posted on Honeymoons & Getting Married Abroad 0 3

Hi ladies

Just starting to think abour our honeymoon and where to go.

The hubby to be is set on the maldives, however im slightly concerned that this may be a little boring for me!

We have been to quite a few caribbean places all inclusive, and so hoping for somewhere a notch better in terms of luxury for our honeymoon. Dont have the biggest budget either - so any inspiration would be appreciated!!

x?

    Hi Gembo,

I just booked my honeymoon this week- exciting times!

Perhaps you could go to a couple of places and fulfil both yours and your OH's requirements? You could couple India/Sri Lanka/Dubai with the Maldives and do more active stuff in those places and relax for the remainder in the Maldives?

How about Hawaii? I know what you mean about it being 'boring.' I like to do excursions to do as well as lying on the beach.

Zanzibar - but am biased - spend some time at the beach, do a couple of trips, a few nights in Stone Town..........

Depending on the time of year - Dubai - shopping, beaches, ski slope, desert adventures, Oman - gorgeous place and somewhere still not too touristy, India, South Africa (Cape Town is fab)....Mozambique - meant to be gorgeous but maybe a bit more expensive...
