Honeymoon Destination - Where's yours?

We are going to Mauritius so excited!

Lovely! ? was it expensive? How long are you going for?

We are going for 2 weeks, all inclusive. It is around £3500, we have booked with Virgin holidays through Debenhams and have it on our gift list so we are hoping for contributions from our guests

We want Dubai. But as we are marrying in November and won't honeymoon until next June we will wait until after the wedding and see what money is left in the pot. Only one week though as we will have an 18 month old at home.

i know there is a Dubai Maldives package that looks gorgeous! X

We're going to italy and croatia with stops in venice, florence, rome and sorrento and then dubrovnic, split and 2 islands in croatia.

California road trip! San Francisco, Los Angeles and finishing in Las Vegas with a few stops along the way. I'm soooooo excited! x

Our official honeymoon is 3 nights in Rome as we have a 3yr old that we don't want to leave for long. We get married on the sat then go on the mon!

But then we're going to go to Florida (where we got engaged) for what will be our 1st anniversary and the 2 year engagement anniversary with our son! It's extremely late to be classing it as our honeymoon but I don't care ? Plus we wouldn't have had the money to be going there straight after the wedding!

I'm letting h2b plan a motorbike road trip to Italy on his new Motoguzzi California - ferry from Hull to Holland, then stick the motorbike on a special train that has room for vehicles at the back and sleeper cars in the front. Overnight to Livorno with fancy dining car and bottle of fizz, then we'll get off and head south - not sure of details yet but there will definitely be stops in Rome & Ravenna, and a drive down the Amalfi coast (the bit i'm looking forward to the most!) Then load up on the train again to head home. We'll probably go for 2 weeks but it depends on work. He's really excited as he isn't in to the WP (shocker!) but loves planning bike tours and travelling by train (he hates airports so unless we're going to see my family in america, we generally drive/train on our european hols) and I'm excited because we both love Italy, and Venice/Tuscany is where he took me on our first proper holiday together a couple of months after we met (and where he first drunkenly proposed, lol).

We're going to South Africa. 5 nights in Cape Town and 4 nights on safari in Kruger National Park

Iceland. We're chasing the Northern Lights.

Thailand for a month! It's the most expensive part of our wedding!

We badly want to go to Japan, but our dream honeymoon would be £6k in flights, so it might be well out of budget. Plus, thanks to some medical issues we might be having to consider having children before the wedding, in which case it will definitely be out of the question because we'll barely have enough money for the wedding, never mind the honeymoon

Sorrento for 11 nights then Rome for 5 nights!! This time in two weeks we'll be there!! Can't wait to eat and drink our way around!! ?

We are having a couple of nights in a log cabin in the middle of nowhere, somewhere in Wales preferably, then about 3 nights in London :-)

We did Borneo, Vietnam and Singapore.

Thinking Mexico

We're really lucky, we've been given some cash for ours. And we finally made a decision today...

We're going to Vilamendhoo, in the Maldives, in April to give us something to look forward to after the wedding. All inclusive for 2 weeks will be just under £3500 ?

We have booked a one week Caribbean cruise followed by a week in sandals Barbados for £4200. Expensive, but it is a special occasion :-)

We're doing 5 nights San Francisco, 4 nights Vegas and 5 nights New York. Going the Monday after wedding (September 2015) and flights/hotels should come in at about £4k-almost more than we'll be spending on the wedding but worth it for a once in a lifetime holiday

We're off to Ibiza! But away from the crowds and the nightlife - 2 hours on a plane, all day sunshine and gorgeous sunsets Can't wait!

Italy for us. 3 nights in Venice, 7 nights in Sorrento then 3 nights in Rome.

We're going to Borneo! How was it Funky?

2 weeks in Malaysia can't wait!

Vegas for 8 nights (have children at home so can't go for longer)

Work constraints make it a minimoon for us! We're getting married Saturday, spending Sunday night at our venue and then having two nights in a manor house in Lincs where the Dambusters were billeted. Great for my military mad wtb and a lovely treat for me as I went there for coffee whilst holidaying in the area when I was 16 and dreamed of staying there every since!

2 weeks in Bali for us, first week central, second week on the coast.
