Honeymoon in October

foosey, 22 January, 2012 at 19:53 Posted on Honeymoons & Getting Married Abroad 0 6

We get married on the 21st October 2012, and we weren't planning on a honeymoon abroad, but now we have decided that we would quite like to go somewhere that isn't going to break the bank, my H2B doesn't want to go to greece, spain, france, italy, turkey, and a few other places, so in the end we have come up with Egypt, malta!!!!!

has anyone got any ideas of anywhere else to try that is reasonably priced

Thanks in advance x

We have recently been to Malta and found it very expensive especially the cost of meals ( almost £30:00 just for a main course) also if you like relaxing on the beach there are very few to choose from and more often than not you have to travel to get to one, Egypt would be the better out of the two, we went on a Nile cruise that was very nice or you could choose a beach holiday, will still be very warm still.

Have you considered The Gambia? Its only around 5hr flight and weather is hot that time of year. Its not a mad party place but if you stay in Sengambia there is a strip with bars and restaurants. We visited the Gambia 3 yrs ago and loved it. If you would like hotel recommendations etc please feel free to drop me a message. I think we travelled there for around £550 each. This maybe is another destination to consider ?

I have been there last year and really enjoyed my vacation. Nice food, nice people and a lot of sun

There are really just too many suggestions to list. Use one of the hotel search engines using your desired area and price range and then come back and ask us to choose between a few.personally I use otelicious.com when I travel I suggest you look over there before booking...Smiley smile

Have you thought about the Cape Verde islands, it cost around £2000 all inclusive for two weeks of luxury. It cost us £2500 for two weeks in Corfu last summer!
