my second option would have been Santorini in Greece but i have been there on many romantic and relaxation breaks.

Hi, I'm also looking to book our honeymoon for the same time (we get married on the 4th) and am looking at Aruba. The majority of destinations we looked at (Maldives, St Lucia, Barbados, Mauritius etc) seemed to be either monsoon or hurricane season.....or just not warm enough ?

Aruba is in the Caribbean but not on the hurricane belt (it sits closer to S America) so we're hoping for good weather. The other destinations we looked at were Koh Samui - I love Thailand but as we've been there we decided to try somewhere new. This is a little expensive to get to but accommodation and living is ca lot cheaper than other places. Unlike other areas in Thailand, Koh Samui is a good island to visit in June - esp if you stay on the west coast (we were looking at Bophut and Cheng Mon). If you have an unlimited budget Fiji would be amazing or Hawaii (our 1st choice but found the accommodation just too expensive).

We are getting married 4th June and we have booked to go to Cuba staying at the Paradisus Rio De Oro.

Cuba was one of the few long haul destinations with not only alot of sun and sea but somewhere with a bit of culture and lots of activities to do.

Have fun deciding i know we did!!

We did Jamaica at the end of June and it was very humid (constant glisten on the skin) and it rained at least some point every day - mainly over lunchtime which wasn't bad but a couple of days for a few hours! But i wouldnt change it for the world - it is your honeymoon afterall so more time indoors isnt a bad thing ?
