Honeymoon Photographer... has anyone done this?

I keep offering to go on the honeymoon with my clients, lol.

Actually, In May, will be in Cyprus for a week with one of my couples, going to do a pre-wedding shoot, the wedding day, and a day after shoot,, so this works quite well if you are getting married far away and your photographer is traveling for the wedding with you.

Nothing booked but that is where we want to go, we based our wedding date around it!!!

Possibly with a trip to Sri Lanka in there too... I want to play with the baby elephants!

I don't really know at the moment! H2B isn't really a sun worshipper so it would need to be one with a dive centre, trips etc.

I know 2 peeps that have been to Kuredu... Need to start looking at it in more detail.

I get discount with Capital World Travel through work so have emailed them to get them on the case and see what they can do for me!

I'm very excited about it!

Ooh is that Velassuru? Think my friend went there last year for her honeymoon.

There are so many things I want to do there... sandbank lunch, diving, snorkelling, boat trips...

I think we will have a honeymoon gift list for all the extras, my cousin had one and I thought it was a brilliant idea!

I so can't wait... sitting here watching the sleet out of the window wishing the white snow was a white sandy beach!!!

Sri Lanka is fab!! If you get there, the big place everyone knows about is the Elephant Orphange in Pinnawella. I actually was not at all impressed and much prefered the Millinenium Elefphant Foundation which was just along the road. We got to wash our elephant, feed him bananas and ride on him!! Was amazing!!

I had a photo shoot done on my last holiday to Mexico.

As Claire said there are quite often Photographers who come to the resort to take photos. We were taken to the beach and had some lovely photos taken. She took around 30 and we chose 15 to take home. Some were Sepia, Black&White or the colour dulled down. We have one of the Sepia pics blown up on the wall, and everyone always comments on them.

We did a 6 night tour and a 6 night beach stay - beach stay was in Kalutara at the Mermaid hotel ?

We stayed in Dom Rep December 2008 and there was an onsite photographer. he went round during the day taking pics and you could book him for photoshoots. Only time i've seen it though.

Ahh - that sounds fab. I'd say do it! It's a chance for another country too! ?

We were actually all-inclusive on the beach and B-L-D on the tour so didn't eat out really. There wasn't too many places in walking distance from our hotel that we saw TBH.

Wowsers!! ? I'd say defo add SL if it's only and extra £400!

we booked our wedding around Maldives season and just booked our honeymoon day after wedding (5th feb 2011), 2 weeks on Veligandu.. really excited about everything now.
