Honeymoon to Toronto, Canada - What to do?

Charliebob, 6 November, 2015 at 07:22 Posted on Honeymoons & Getting Married Abroad 0 1

Hey guys my OH and I are looking to go to Toronto for 10 days for our honeymoon.

I have always wanted to go to Canada, and especially see a ice hockey game.

Can anyone list any must do things when we go and also when hockey season is?

Is it quite easy to get a guided trip to Niagra Falls?

And we are looking at the Chelsea Hotel in Toronto City so we are central to most things, does anyone have any feedback on this?

Many thanks!

Hi I live near Toronto, when are you coming on your honeymoon? for hockey the maple leafs are almost always sold out,, you can buy tickets before they game on the street buy be prepared to spend alot for them. $200/ ticket or more sometimes you can find them less but it's tough. They have a second tier team called the Marlies it's great hockey to watch and is very reasonable $40 per ticket and you'll still get the experience of a professional hockey game!

hockey is on now until mid April there are lots of options to go to niagara falls is best to book online and will be cheaper too. so many things to choose when you are here. CN tower for sure if you like heights and are brave you can do the edge walk outside! the Ripley's aquarium is great. yonge street for shopping and people watching. niagara has so much to do if almost recommend you stay a night there to do everything. casinos great meals concerts/shows. and if you like wine they have some great wineries in a beautiful town called niagara on the lake.

if you like Broadway shows and concerts etc there are plenty of great bands, productions, comedy clubs etc in Toronto check out www.ticketmaster.ca to see what's on the dates you are here.

let me know if you need more info. you'll love it here. my parents came to Toronto from Scotland when I was a baby to live here and we've never left!

I've visited the Niagara Falls once but I wasn't impressed. I expected them to be much higher than they actually were, so you might want to kook into that before making the trip down there.

I haven't been to any national parks but I assume there are some gorgeous ones around, so maybe that's something you'd like to do for a day ?
