Hello!

So....how are you all having your hair??

I would LOVE mine like any of the pictures below - soft curls BUT my hair is soooo straight i dont think a curl will hold.

there are hardly any straight hair down photos on the www!

I wanted mine in a similar style but have my hair is neither curly or straight, its unruly! Curls wont stay and when I have really straight hair, it looks flat. So Ive gone for something totally different...

this way, I dont have to worry about flat/frizzy/messy hair! (I just need more pins and hairspray ?

(sorry for big pics and pointy nose!!)

yes i saw! what a witch!

I am thinking about having this lady for make up - http://wwww.makeupartistsurrey.co.uk/

She does hair aswel but i wasnt overly impressed with the hair of some of the brides on her website so i may just have her for make up and keep looking for someone for hair.

I am really struggling to find someone decent who will travel to the venue on a sunday so all suggestions welcomed.

I think I'm having my hair quite natural - just down with some soft waves. I hate wearing my hair up so I wouldn't want to wear it that way on my wedding day, even though I love some of the styles.

Although I have a hair trial on 27th March and my hair dresser really wants me to try extensions just to see how it will look. ? I am very skeptical of this though and do not want to look like Jordan! But I said I will at least have the trial and see how it looks. If it looks tasteful I might consider it, but if not I'll just have it down. Got to consider the honeymoon too and whether I can get the extensions out with minimum hassle the next day!

Hmmm not sure at all! ?

Shoegal - I love the hair in picture no 1. I think it would look nice with a vintage brooch in at the back. Are you wearing a veil?

Max - your hair is perfect, looks brilliant even in the trial. Suits your face shape really well. I keep getting you mixed up with Moonpig and congratulating her on her pregnancy when it's actually you I'm thinking of. Apologies to both of you!

    I'm looking at these styles:

Stole this from someone on here, sorry don't know there name. Love, love, love it. My favourite.

I like these but not sure.

Would love a half up half down look, as i hate my hair being all up, but i had it half up half down for my brothers wedding and it looked nice.

Think i need to grow my hair a few more inches and then the hair thats down can be worked with a bit more, such as having a slight wave or something

    Hi girls,

I was reading your blog and noticed that you mentioned Kerry Luceys website! She did the hair & make-up for my sisters wedding last year and i've booked her for mine in July, she is really good at hair as well as make-up... i thought the same about the pics!!!

I've also got really straight hair so am going to have mine up but in a very romantic sort of style. Will try and find some pics to put on here.

    Lucy x

Mine's like Max's except where she's got that hair from the top sweeping round the side, mine comes over the top of my head and over the bun so although I have a round bun shape it's covered over so you can't see the hole in the middle of the bun.

I'm loving these ideas. I've actually got the opposite problem to you Shoegal, my hair is very curly but drives me crazy down (it itches my neck, gets really hot and I can't stop touching it so it gets frizzy) so I want my hair all up but can't find any pictures where the hair up has tight curls!

Samsam you've posted some of the pics I've been looking at but can't find any that have a tighter curl. I've been lucky to find someone who's very reasonable & will come out to my venue to do my hair on the morning. Hope she can recreate whats in my head!!

Well my hair is hopefully going to be all up. I think kind of pulled back curls with maybe a few loose ones! My sister hates all her hair up so the BM's will have their's similar to mine but half up half down! And the flowergirl will pick her own style!

Well my style is what the hairdresser tells me she thinks i would suit. I havent actually had a trial, but as iv another 7 and a bit months, i think im ok for a bit!!
