how did you choose your username?

It really bugs me now though, would love to change it!

Mine has a very sad explanation, lol.

When I was about 12 and making my hotmail address, I fancied a boy called James and 52637 spells out James on a mobile keypad so I put my name ********@*******.***. Since then, I've used the name for lots of things cos no-one else ever has it already!

Well kind of geeky but I am a big fan of a band called Garbage and worshipped Shirley Manson (lead singer) as a teenager.

They had a song out called Stupid Girl right around the time I started using the net. And I got 45 cause when I wanted a hotmail account it suggested Stupidgirl45 - I guess there are 44 other Stupids out there.

Anyway I've had the same user name/email since I was about 15 - and I'm 27 now. Can't be assed to change it!

A girl I used to work with years ago used to call me it and i've used it ever since!

Random username finder about 6/7 years ago, now I use it for everything.

My names Jo last name Giffith, hence JoG, and I also sognm my name like that on documents. I wanted something grown up becasue I usually use da3gs, from a teenages which stood for the 3 G's: Glamorous, Glitzy and Gorgeous, which all my friends thought we were!!

Wanted something weddingy and this just popped into my head - don't know why or how ..... and no I've never thought about diamonds until I got my engagement ring. Its probably a bit long for a username but didn't give it that much thought. Quite like it now though. Mmm maybe I should get a avator or whatever they are called to match it.

I am a Sheffield United supporter and their nickname is the blades, so by being bladette I am a female blade. My son made the nickname for me once and it has stuck.

When I first joined Hitched I did have another name but I can't remember what it was - apart from not very memorable obviously! Changed it to Snow Patroller ... then to Mrs Snow Patroller .... should things move on maybe I'll become Mama Snow Patroller, but I'm not hedging any bets on that for a while!

My brothers nicknamed me Mogwai when I was a kid. Mogwai's are the cute furry ones from the Gremlins movies.

While my brothers rarely call me this now, lots of my older friends still do and I've used "Mogwai" or "Miss Mogwai" for pretty much every internet forum I've ever used.

Mine is my name (Melanie) with an extra couple of letters thrown in so that it's not just my name. I use it in a few places.

It was a bit weird wandering around Glastonbury drunk one morning to hear everyone talking about the band Mogwai... I got a little bit paranoid!!

Quite simply it's based on my company name Finesse Planning otherwise it would be Ruthalicious which is what one of my friends call me where I go wakeboarding.

I'm Zippy27 because my favourite TV programme when I was little was Rainbow, my favourite character was Zippy. I'm a chatterbox (hence the number of posts I have made in 8 months), my mum said I should have come with a zip!! And I was 27 when I started using that username. I am Zippy27 on the other forums I use except for justkampers where I am Mrs_Chicken, as my h2b's username there is Chicken.

I came to a wedding forum. It's been here for years. I knew that no-one else would call themselves a nun.

DumbleSpud is a combination of my and my H2B's nicknames for each other.

I think mine explains it's self really! I've used this name for lot's of internet stuff for the last 8 years or so!
